Family Support Practitioner (Western Health & Social Care Trust Area)

We understand that having a baby in the neonatal unit is a stressful and anxious time, so our specialist services provide both practical and emotional support to families. Parents have called this a “lifeline” in times of need and uncertainty.

The Key responsibilities include to:

Promote and present TinyLife’s services to parents, healthcare professionals and local communities throughout the relevant geographical area.
Visit Maternity and Neo Natal Unit to ensure families are fully supported.
Plan, prepare and facilitate the delivery of local support groups, baby massage sessions, Tiny sensory, parent groups and other bespoke tailored support.

You will have:

25 days annual leave plus 12 statutory days (pro-rata)
Access to a Pension – up to and including 6% contribution by TinyLife
Contributory access to Organisation’s health scheme (after successfully completing 6 months’ probation)
Homebased with travel to families and neonatal units in your area and occasional Belfast office days when required.

The ideal candidate will be living and working within the Western Health & Social Care Trust Area – You will be visiting Neo-Natal Units in this area and delivering support groups. Consideration must be given to travel.

Company pension

Work Location: Hybrid: Home, Support Group Venues, Neo-Natal Units in Trust Area and occasional office visits in Belfast.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £29,093.00-£31,586.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Belfast BT3 9LE
