Our Project Officer leaves Coleraine most mornings to go to the following sites: Roe Valley, Banagher Glan, Binevenagh Nature reserve, Altikeeragh Bog, Reas Wood. This work includes scrub control, Himalayan balsam control, conifer, willow, birch and rhododendron control. This is vital work needed to maintain local native habitats for birds and insects. It's physically demanding work, that involves rolling up your sleeves, but rewarded with beautiful scenery and local wildlife knowledge.
