This rewarding role lets you deliver high-quality, person-centred support while coaching and leading colleagues to help people live the life they want.
About Positive Futures
Positive Futures supports people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries and autism. Wonderful things can and do happen when people get the right support, at the right time, from the right people.
About the Role
You’ll provide outstanding, person-centred support and act as a strong role model—mentoring, coaching and supervising staff so best practice is embedded across the service. - Safeguard health, safety and wellbeing; uphold Adult Safeguarding and Risk Management policies; model safe and effective practice for others.
- Promote independence, choice and active citizenship—supporting community participation, relationships, holidays and everyday decision-making.
- Develop daily living skills (home management, healthy meals, medication, finances, benefits, appointments) and link people with the right services.
- Lead shifts; induct, mentor and coach staff (including PBS/stress & coping plans); deliver regular person-centred supervision; chair/participate in team and statutory meetings.
- Maintain accurate records (medication, finance, incidents, risk, behaviours), use ICT systems confidently, and oversee H&S checks and finance audits.
- Work to Positive Futures’ Mission, Values and Code of Conduct; maintain NISCC registration and complete required learning and development.
