The role of the Care Assistant is to provide care and support for residents within the Christian ethos and aims of the Council for Social Witness
Hours: Post 1: 24.66 hours (Day Duty)
Post 2: 24.66 hours (Night Duty)
Post 3: 37 hours (Night Duty)
Salary Scale: £12.90 per hour (no NVQ)
£12.96 per hour with NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
£13.00 per hour with NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Location: Trinity House, 15 Kilrea Road, Garvagh, BT51 5LP
Essential Criteria:
- Evidence an understanding of and respect for the needs of older people;
- Willing to undertake relevant training e.g. induction training, or NVQ/QCF level 2;
- Proficiency in understanding, communicating and writing in English to level required by the duties of the post;
- Basic numeracy required by the duties of the post (as endorsed by appropriate qualification or use of numeracy skills in a work or home environment).
- Be willing to work additional hours to fulfil the requirements of the Home
- Willing to maintain registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council
