Epilepsy Action are dedicated to creating world without limits for people with epilepsy. We put people affected by epilepsy at the heart of everything we do, and we value their input in all our activities. It is essential that Epilepsy Action’s work is guided by and relevant to the whole epilepsy community.
We want to ensure we hear from culturally and ethnically diverse voices to make sure all our work is relevant to them and in tackling the problems that they face. Too often, people from historically marginalised communities face additional barriers when it comes to accessing healthcare, understanding epilepsy, and accessing support.
The Ethnic Communities Panel will ensure that your voice is heard. We want to better understand the diverse experiences of people from ethnic communities who are affected by epilepsy. Your insights and feedback as a panel member will help us to identify core gaps and inequalities, while helping to shape our campaigns, services, and projects to ensure an inclusive and equal mission to help all affected by epilepsy.
