About Us
Polish Sisterhood supports Polish women and their families by organising meetings, events and help at a point of crises (sickness, financial struggles, loneliness). The activities include:
- Monthly support meeting for Polish women
- Individual support to members experiencing hardships, e.g. living lonely and being sick, being victims of domestic violence, on low income
- Monthly book club sessions and ongoing Polish library services
- Regular workshops - health & well-being and arts & crafts workshops
- Physical activities, e.g. walks, dancing classes, yoga
- Cooking workshops related to Polish traditions
- Outdoor community events - May day and Solstice picnics
- Participating in cultural events, e.g. St. Patrick's Day or MELA Parade
- Sightseeing trips
