Volunteer with Start360

We are inviting expressions of interest from people who want to make a real difference through volunteering.

At Start360, we recognise the important contribution volunteering makes to individuals, communities and wider society. We are committed to helping our volunteers build skills, confidence and employability through meaningful experience and ongoing support.

Opportunities available

We are promoting volunteer opportunities including:

Volunteer fundraisers
General volunteer roles
University student placements

We expect to promote approximately 5 to 15 volunteer opportunities.

These opportunities may suit individuals who want to gain practical experience, support important community-based services and develop their confidence and skills in a supportive environment.

Our volunteers take part in an application and interview process, including an AccessNI check where appropriate. We also provide induction, safeguarding training, access to further learning opportunities and ongoing support throughout the volunteering journey.

A supportive opportunity

Our volunteer service is designed to support individuals who may face barriers to volunteering, including barriers linked to mental health, addiction or involvement in the criminal justice system. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where volunteers can gain the skills and experience needed to move forward.
