    Community Champion (Northern Ireland)

    Opportunity image

Could you spread awareness of our services to your local community? Are you a people person and are passionate about helping others? Do you have 2-8 hours to spare each month to support and champion Epilepsy Action in your local area?

This is the role for you!

Our Community Champions are at the heart of helping us to create a world without limits for people with epilepsy. They offer support and visibility at a local level, from fundraising to awareness raising and will help us achieve these goals. The Community Champion Volunteers in Northern Ireland have three main roles:

    • Helping to raise awareness about Epilepsy Action's work to make a difference for people living with epilepsy

    • Supporting our fundraising team and ultimately helping to raise funds for the charity's work

    • Actively engaging and building networks with local groups and associations in Northern Ireland

There will be flexibility so you can decide how you want to support and champion Epilepsy Action to really make a difference at the heart of your community!

Over time as we grow our Community Champion network there will be more opportunities to get involved and encourage others to organise a wider variety of activities and fundraising in your community. We'd love to hear your ideas too!

You'll be joining our vibrant volunteer community and will be fully support by our dedicated Volunteer Team.
